In 2020, Darwin’s Game, a well-known science fiction anime, debuted. Released on January 3, 2020, the anime adaptation was produced by the Nexus studio. In 2012, FLIPFLOPs created a manga-based script that they also wrote and produced.

It is a smartphone based on the Netflix anime, in which the game takes place in real life and the primary objective seems to be killing people. Season 2 of Darwin’s Game will likely follow a similar plot line if it ever gets released in the future.

In this article, we will be sharing all you need to know about Darwin’s Game season 2. Continue reading to find out more.

Darwin’s Game is Yet to Be Renewed For Season 2

Sadly, Studio Nexus has not said whether a second season of “Darwin’s Game” will air. There hasn’t been any information on the series since it first aired in the spring of 2020. The same year, Netflix decided to stream the series on its site. There is no information on whether this has increased the show’s popularity enough to warrant a second season from Studio Nexus, though.

The Darwin’s Game (the in-universe mobile app, not the anime) idea is straightforward. Everyone who creates an account receives a “Sigil.” This is ostensibly a special superpower the individual possesses that will help them on their quest for victory. Finding other players and getting rid of them however you can is the aim of the game. Although forcing them to submit is an option, people typically view murder as the quickest and most effective course of action.

Kaname Sudou, the show’s main character, is trying to change things while all of this murder and mayhem is going on, even though he ends Season 1 as one of the most mysterious up-and-comers in D-Game after defeating the Eighth rival clan. Kaname, however, decides to keep looking for D-game Game’s master in order to stop all the violence after killing Eighth’s leader. He is able to move in that direction now that he and the Sunset Ravens have gained power by forbidding D-Game players from entering their region.
