Harry Guy Snyder, a successor of the In-N-Out Burger

In-N-Out Burger is a popular brand that originated in Canada. The late Harry Snyder and his wife Esther Snyder, founded the company to create a drive-through hamburger restaurant where people can take orders via intercom. Unfortunately, Harry passed away on December 14th, 1976 from lung cancer. He left his thriving In-N-Out Burger business in the care of his wife and two children. The Biography of Harry Guy Snyder

Harry Guy Snyder was a prince in the hamburger kingdom In-N-Out Burger. He was born to his parents, Harry Snyder and Easter Snyder, on February 22nd, 1951. Also, Guy had a younger brother Richard “Rich” Allen Snyder. He was born on July 13th, 1952.

Growing up, Guy enjoyed the comfort of nature and engaged in activities such as tilling the soil, riding the caterpillar tractor, shooting his pistol, etc. Furthermore, he loved being with his friends.

The Early Life of Harry Guy Snyder

As a young man, Harry Guy Snyder had no interest in toasting buns and grilling meat patties. He did not want to be a part of the family’s business. Rather, Guy spent time on his 170 acres flying Dutchman Ranch in the Sacramento Valley. Also, he embraced the social life of partying, sex, and drug. Eventually, Guy found a passion for speed cars, motorcycles, and dragsters. In the mid-1970s during one of his races, he had a terrible accident where he broke his back and right arm.

Harry Guy Snyder’s Marriage Life

Guy was married and divorced to two women in a pre-nuptial agreement. His first wife was a divorcee and mother of two who worked in a T-shirt shop in Hermosa Beach. Her name was Lynda Lou Perkins. After Guy and Lynda’s marriage in 1981, they had a child called Lynsi Lavella Snyder on May 5th, 1982. By January 23rd, 1997, Guy and Lynda dissolved their marriage.

The second wife of Harry Guy Snyder was Kathy Touché. She was a divorced mother of three who worked at her father’s restaurant Norm’s Hanger in Brackett Field, La Verne. Guy and Kathy married on September 28th, 1997. The relationship lasted a little while before Guy filed for divorce on May 18th, 1999.

Who is Harry Guy Snyder’s Child?

The child Harry Guy Snyder had with his first wife was Lynsi Lavella Snyder. Lynsi was the only biological child of her father and the only granddaughter of Esther Snyder. In 2010, at 28, Lynsi was pronounced the president of In-N-Out Burger. At 30, she inherited about 50% of the company.

The Death of Harry Guy Snyder

Harry Guy Snyder died at 48 at Antelope Valley Hospital, Lancaster, California. He was watching the television with friends when he stopped breathing. The cause of Guy’s death was determined to be an overdose of hydrocodone painkiller.

The In-N-Out Burger Company

After the passing of the two brothers, Harry Guy Snyder and Richard “Rich” Allen Snyder, Lynsi Snyder the daughter of Guy became the only successor of the company. When Lynsi was mature enough to run the company, she kept the ball rolling and never agreed to a franchise. At the moment, In-N-Out Burgers has extended to about 347 stores in six states.
